Us
Caboolture Lions Football Club is a non-profit organisation
and is situated on Beerburrum Road, Caboolture, 49 kms north of Brisbane.
Caboolture is a major growth area in Queensland. Our
Junior base was formed in 1987, and has grown steadily under good management
committee's, coaches and support staff who understand the importance
of children having fun, and also developing different skills to enjoy
the game of Aussie Rules.
The Club supports the junior development of players from
Auskick Under 8's through to Youth Under 16's where there are currently
over 200 junior members. In 2009, all of our teams made the finals. Our Under 12's made the Grand Final. Under 14'2 the Semi-Finals and Under 16's the Preliminary Final. This is just one illustration of the achievements of our players and our coaching staff.
All teams show a great level of sportsmanship and enjoyment
for the game.
The club runs a pre-season Friday Night competition,
commencing in February until the season competition starts, and our regular
day competition which runs from April until the end of September.
Thank you to the Volunteers, Parents and Players for
your support and efforts during 2009. Your continued support will ensure
2010 is bigger and an enjoyable season for all.
