Due to a misunderstanding of how the coaches selection process should be done; we, the committee members, would like to extend our apologies to everyone involved or affected by how the process was undertaken, especially the applicants and parents.    The committee confirms the appointment of the 2010 Youth coaches being:

Under 12s – Adam Venn, Under 14s – John Jeffrey and Under 16s – Daniel Golding.

We acknowledge that this process requires standardization so that situations like this do not occur again.  Accordingly we will be inviting interested parties; including current coaches, past coaches, managers, parents and committee members, to attend a evening to discuss and document how the coaching application and selection process can be improved for the future.  This will give the current and future committees a standard format to follow each year.  More information regarding this evening will be distributed once the season has started and we have settled into our season routines.

Committee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, from 7pm in the club house, and everyone is welcome to attend.  Please don’t feel that by attending you are obligated to assist however any contribution that you can make will always be gratefully appreciated.
